You can use the cosrx Salicylic Acid Daily gentle Cleanser both morning & evening if required, though we recommend once daily (with make-up double cleanse with an oil-cleanser), we also recommend to use with a pore/ cleansing brush as and when needed. Please remember to use essence/toner/ampoule/serum straight afterwards to avoid dehydrated skin and a compromised skin barrier- we recommend using hyaluronic acid and ceramide inclusive products. Cosrx Advanced Snail Radiance Dual Essence – 80ml

Cosrx advanced snail mucin dual essence is another of Cosrx’s great range of products. A must-have for it’s anti-aging, healing, brightening and hydration.

Contains 74.3% Triple Snail mucin compl

ex as the main ingredient with added Naicinimide and Glutathione for brightening. Snail mucin is known to benefit aging skin and soften the appearance of fine lines. This product can be used with harsher ingredients like Retinol, Vitamin C and acids when appropriate. Other ingredients include Betaine, Panthenol, Meadow foam seed oil and Allantoin, which provide additional skin moisturizing effects.

Suitable for various skin types, including normal skin, oily skin and sensitive skin. However do note that some acne-prone/ very-sensitive skin types may not tolerate much snail mucin*.

*Some skin types may find that they can only tolerate small amounts of this as it may clog the pores. We suggest you cleanse throughly (gently exfoliate), hydrate first then apply small amounts in patch tests to see how much you can tolerate. Gradually add more if needed. Many people find the Benton Snail Bee Ultimate Serum more tolerable for acne-prone skin and others prefer the simplicity of the Cosrx range that helps their skin glow. See what works best for you – always patch test and see if you can build up tolerance gradually. Glutathione works well with vitamin C (but Vit. C does’t go well with niacinimide) try adding it in your routine in stages/ layers (after being absorbed).

COSRx – The Retinol 0.3 Cream (super vitamin E + Panthenol) is great for a retino upgrade suitable for intermediate to advanced users ( building from the 0.1 cream). Once you are already comfortable with retinol products and would like to gain more / better results we recommend trying out this new 0.3 cream.

Recommended application by Nunu Ma:

Use retinol at night – you may want to start off with skin cycling to build up tolerance if you have never used it before (i.e. start with 2 evenings a week). If you see any irriatation follow instructions (reduce use or discontinue). Personally I have found that ceramide creams and aloe vera help to repair my skin barrier and any irritation afterwards (you can also mix retinol serums with a ceramide cream or layer). Use sunscreen during the day.
