Their US customer service responded to our email to say this product was in fact cruelty-free, vegan friendly and free of animal ingredients ( Banila Co may sell in countries that are not cruelty-free but we do know that some laws allow flexibility if the ingredients are known). We personally are pro encouraging positive steps in the industry. We do hope though that this is announced on their site in future for all to benefit.
