You can use the cosrx Salicylic Acid Daily gentle Cleanser both morning & evening if required, though we recommend once daily (with make-up double cleanse with an oil-cleanser), we also recommend to use with a pore/ cleansing brush as and when needed. Please remember to use essence/toner/ampoule/serum straight afterwards to avoid dehydrated skin and a compromised skin barrier- we recommend using hyaluronic acid and ceramide inclusive products. This product can be used with harsher ingredients like Retinol, Vitamin C and acids when appropriate. Other ingredients include Betaine, Panthenol, Meadow foam seed oil and Allantoin, which provide additional skin moisturizing effects.
Suitable for various skin types, including normal skin, oily skin and sensitive skin. However do note that some acne-prone/ very-sensitive skin types may not tolerate much snail mucin*.

*Some skin types may find that they can only tolerate small amounts of this as it may clog the pores. We suggest you cleanse throughly (gently exfoliate), hydrate first then apply small amounts in patch tests to see how much you can tolerate. Gradually add more if needed. Many people find the Benton Snail Bee Ultimate Serum more tolerable for acne-prone skin and others prefer the simplicity of the Cosrx range that helps their skin glow. See what works best for you – always patch test and see if you can build up tolerance gradually. Glutathione works well with vitamin C (but Vit. C does’t go well with niacinimide) try adding it in your routine in stages/ layers (after being absorbed).

About ‘Niacinamide’
Niacinamide is a soluble vitamin ingredient also known as Vitamin B3 or Nicotinamide. This ingredient can help improve many of the problems our skin may encounter. Niacinamide can help you noticeably improve skin problems such as wider pores, unbalanced skin tone, and dullness of skin. In fact, it can improve aging and dingy skin texture by mitigating damage from harmful environments!
Directions:
Use daily after cleansing and before applying moisturizer & makeup. Moisten a cotton ball or pad and apply to face and neck. For best results, use in the morning and at night for soft, smooth and beautiful skin.
Safety Information
The product contains a high content of Niacinamide – please be very careful and patch test before use – “face burning” in users with sensitive skin. Please test under the chin before use.

I’d say only for users who are comfortable already with 10% niacinamide & 2% zinc, feel free to water down so it is less sensitizing. I also recommend to use together with ceramide creams to keep skin barrier healthy (my own personal favourite is the Benton one which has a full range of different ceramides in it). I personaly prefer higher strength products and like to water them down i.e. I mix 50% aloe vera with 50% of this to achieve my own goal of 10% (with double the product left to use as it’s stronger!)- do be careful though if you have sensitive skin and if not using exact measurements.
